Your Questions
Do you do cosmetic dentistry?
Absolutely! We incorporate cosmetic dentistry in all of your dental care, making your smile look as beautiful and natural as possible no matter what kind of treatment we’re providing.
Can you do a crown on a tooth that hasn’t had a root canal?
Yes, there are many instances where using a crown on a tooth is a better choice for a restoration and helps make a tooth stronger. Sometimes using a crown actually helps avoid the need for a root canal on that tooth in the future.
How quickly can you see emergency patients?
We know that a dental emergency can be painful and sometimes scary. We make every effort to see emergency patients on the same day that you call.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, we welcome all new patients. We also appreciate your referrals of family, friends and neighbors to our practice.
At what age should my child first see the dentist?
We recommend that children come to our office for their first checkup around age three. But we also encourage you to bring your children in with you for a visit before that to give them a chance to sit in the dental chair with you so they can see that you are comfortable in our office.
What is your cancellation policy for appointments?
We do ask that you give us at least 48 business hours notice if you need to cancel an appointment. This allows us to see other patients who require care. Without 48 hours notice, you may incur a charge for the appointment time.
What do I do if my child has knocked out a tooth?
Stay calm. Pick up the tooth by the crown (try not to touch the root) and rinse it gently if it’s dirty. Try to reinsert the tooth in your child’s mouth or if that’s not possible, put it in a glass of milk to keep it moist. Then call our office right away and bring your child and his/her tooth to us as soon as possible.
