Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Yasmin Mawji
Dr. Mawji is a graduate in dentistry from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland and from the University of Toronto. Her life's journey has taken her from her birthplace Kenya, to the United Kingdom and finally Canada-having practised dentistry in all these countries. She has made Toronto her home for the last fourteen years.She keeps abreast of advancements in dentistry with continuing education courses and memberships in various dental study clubs. She has a keen interest in helping disenfranchised children and youth and has worked as a volunteer dentist in Jerusalem and Kenya. She has worked in the Canadian Arctic, Labrador and in the James Bay area of Ontario with the University of Toronto., Currently she volunteers at and sits on the Board of the 'Shout' Clinic-a clinic for Street Youth in Toronto.
She is fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati and Swahili and enjoys travelling, the Arts and swimming.

Dr. Jody Zajacz
Dr. Jody Zajacz is a graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry.
Prior to her dental school career, she attended McGill University
receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree. Within the past few years
she moved to Toronto, started working at Etobicoke Dental, and
got married. What a wonderful few years it has been for her. Dr. Zajacz undertakes her profession and the care of her patients
with knowledge, expertise, and above all excitement. She is currently
President of the West Toronto Dental Society and a councilor for
the Ontario Dental Association. She is a member of the Crown and
Bridge Study Club, the Toronto Academy of Dentistry, and the Canadian
Dental Association. She continues to expand her knowledge in the
field of dentistry for the enrichment of her career and the benefit
of her practice.

Dr. Christopher Li
Dr. Christopher Li graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty
of Dentistry in 1998. Following graduation he completed a one year
hospital residency in Toronto which included Sick Kids, Mount Sinai,
Toronto General, Princess Margaret Hospital and spending two months
up north treating native Canadians. Dr. Li is proficient in all
aspects of dentistry and, like his peers, frequently attends continuing
education courses to keep up to date with new techniques and materials.
He is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental
Association and on the executive committee of the West Toronto
Dental Society.
Born in Toronto and now living in Mississauga, Dr. Li contributes
to the community through charity and volunteer work. He is happily
married and enjoys trips to the gym, skiing and spending time with
family and friends. At Etobicoke Dental, he wishes to maintain
an open, caring and friendly environment.

Dr. Lawrence Sirota
Dr. Lawrence Sirota received his dental education at the University
of Toronto. He began his career in Parkdale and after one year
opened his own dental practice in the Junction (West Toronto).
In 1990, he was pleased to join Etobicoke Dental.
Dr. Sirota has a keen interest in ongoing professional education,
taking many courses to increase his knowledge in both general and
cosmetic dentistry. He has served the community as a volunteer
dentist with the Toronto free clinic and also volunteered overseas.
In the past, Dr. Sirota has served as President of the West Toronto
Dental Society and as President of the George Hare Endodontic Study
Club. He as been member of the Canadian Dental Association and
Ontario Dental Association since graduation. In addition to committee
work with the Ontario Dental Association, he served on the board
of governors for six years. He has been awarded a fellowship in
the Academy of Dentistry International in recognition of his accomplishments. He takes great pleasure in spending time with his grandchildren,
playing golf, and improving his digital photography.
